QUESTION: WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Answer: Price includes set up and removal of your personalized greeting. Orders may be subject to delivery and rush fees. Once we have processed payment you don't need to do anything else except enjoy your front yard for 24 hours....and send us a picture if you'd like. QUESTION: WHAT ZIP CODES DO YOU SERVICE?
Answer: We cover areas in both LA & Ventura Counties and you will be able to choose your zip code when you book your set up. If you don’t see your zip code please choose “Other” & we will reach out to you to confirm pricing with you.
QUESTION: CAN I PLACE A SPECIAL ORDER?
Answer: Yes. We accept special orders placed a minimum of 2 weeks prior to delivery. We need the time to design your graphic & print it. Please request your custom order in the notes when you’re booking your setup and we will reach out to you to confirm everything including pricing.
QUESTION: DO I NEED REAL LAWN?
Answer: It’s preferable. We can stake into dirt as long as it’s soft. However we cannot set up
a display on artificial turf. While you may have had stakes driven into your turf for a sign in the past we are not able to do it because we would need to drive over 30 stakes into the turf - some of which may not cooperate. It would not only take a couple of hours to do but it would make a ton of noise due to the fact we would need to hammer them into the turf. Not to mention it could damage your beautiful turf. Maybe we can set up in the backyard or dirt areas in your yard in lieu of your turf.
QUESTION: CAN THE SIGNS GET WET?
Answer: While our signs are water proof we ask that you DON’T get them wet. Please TURN OFF your sprinklers the night before your set up by 8pm & we ask that you keep them off until AFTER we remove it the following evening after 8pm. The signs will get water spots on them you will be subject to a $50 cleaning fee.
QUESTION: HOW DO I KNOW IF MY DAY IS AVAILABLE?
Answer: When you select the Event Date, our website will automatically determine if the date is available so you will know immediately.
QUESTION: WHAT IF YOU ARE BOOKED ON THE DAY I WOULD LIKE TO RESERVE MY SETUP?
Answer: We will do our best to accommodate all of your requests but we can only run greetings when we have the available inventory. We recommend scheduling your set up as far out as possible to reserve your slot.. Last minute bookings will be based on available inventory & rush fee.
QUESTION: CAN I MOVE THE LETTERS EMOJIS?
Answer: For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to touch, play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from touching, playing on or around the display. Lastly, we respectfully ask that you don’t move the display for any reason.
QUESTION: WHEN WILL YOU GUYS SET UP MY DISPLAY?
Answer: We will set up sometime between 8pm the night before and 5am the day of your set up so PLEASE DON’T WAIT UP for us. If you would like to confirm with us the day before feel free to do that by emailing us at: customerservice@yardcardstory.com
QUESTION: CAN I SET THEM UP MYSELF?
Answer: The short answer is no. To ensure your Safety & to make sure your display is as perfect as it can be a Yard Card Story installer will set them up for you. The letters & emoji’s are made of corrugated plastic which have very sharp edges & we use several different stakes to install your display that are also very dangerous when not handled properly. While it may seem easy, trust us when we tell you it’s not. We have the scars and scratches to prove it. The last thing we want you to do is worry about setting up your display, where to put it?, how to properly angle it?, how many rows do I need?, is it straight?, etc… Just sit back and relax and let the pros handle it for you.
